INTRO TO ACRO YOGA AT INSPIRE
Curious about acro yoga but not sure where to begin? This 1.5-hour workshop at Inspire is designed as a welcoming introduction to the fundamentals of acro in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.
We’ll start with a combination of solo and partner warm-ups to prepare the body and build trust between partners. From there, we’ll explore the basic language of acro yoga including foundational roles, communication cues, spotting, and simple partner poses. Skills will be broken down step by step so everyone can participate at a pace that feels comfortable- even if its your very first time!
Throughout the workshop you’ll learn how to move safely with a partner while building balance, connection, and confidence. We’ll finish with a gentle partner cool down to help the body relax and integrate what you’ve learned.
No experience is required, and you don’t need to bring a partner (but you can come with a partner if you desire but we always encourage partner switching when attendees are comfortable)
